San Tan Valley Leading Edge Academy Says Goodbye to Principal Butcher

Leading Edge Academy Mountain View principal, Steve Butcher is set to retire at the end of this school year. Mr. Butcher has been the principal at Leading Edge Academy Mountain View since 2011 and has seen the school maintain consistent growth over that time.  

Leading Edge Academy honored Mr. Butcher and thanked him for all his years of service. In his honor a new flag pole was installed at its San Tan Valley campus. The flag pole was presented and dedicated in his name during a ceremony May 20th. Members of the public, current and former staff, as well as students attended the ceremony.

Leading Edge Academy prides itself on combining academic excellence with a passion to know each student and help them succeed in school, character, and life. The boast of their small class sizes, a safe, wholesome environment, traditional values, and school uniforms, making their campus feel like a private school with the benefits of a public school, such as competitive sports, performing arts, and tuition-free education.

Leading Edge Academy's San Tan Valley campus was founded in 2005 and is a part of the Leading Edge Academy Network family that opened their first school in Gilbert in 2002 with 17 students. The Leading Edge Charter Network continues to expand and currently has school sites in Gilbert, East Mesa, San Tan Valley, Gilbert and Maricopa servicing nearly 2000 students.
